The Greater West Central Area Labor Council will be holding its annual Christmas Party at 2233 Birch St. on Thursday, January 12. The Labor Council is composed of AFL-CIO union locals in Barron, Clark, Chippewa, Dunn, Eau Claire, Pepin, Pierce, Polk, and St. Croix Counties.
There will be no executive board meeting at the January meeting. The January 12, 2017 general meeting will start at 6pm. Holiday dinner and refreshments will be enjoyed after the meeting. Delegates are asked to bring a dessert to share. Families and friends and your members are welcomed!!
Consider offering donations from your Local or International to be raffled off with proceeds going to the GWCA Labor Council Community Services Committee fund.
Please bring a nonperishable food item for OPEIU 177 food bank.
In the spirit of giving, the Community Services Committee is collecting warm items – hats, gloves, scarfs, sweatshirts, coats – to donate to the Sojourner House. Gather those warm items you don’t use anymore or have outgrown and bring them to the Christmas Party to offer to our neighbors less fortunate.
